• If you are driving - parking in the castle parking area is € 12 per day
• If you choose to take the shuttle bus up to the castle it costs € 3.50 one-way or € 5 roundtrip
• If you choose to take the horse and carriage, it costs € 8 up to the castle and € 4 down from the castle

Good to Know

• Before booking, keep in mind that tickets can only be picked up at Füssen Train Station. You may not go to the castle without your tickets. Tickets cannot be picked up at Neuschwanstein Castle or at the castle ticket center
• Be prepared for a moderate amount of walking
• The castle can be cold, even in summer, so please bring a jacket
• Photography is not allowed inside the castle
